Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie

Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie

Google didn't announce about the new version of Android at Google I/O 2013 but that doesn't mean it doesn't have major updates in store for Android owners. The first of these updates should be Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, rumored to be arriving in July, while the biggest update of the year is thought to be Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. And while we haven’t heard much about the real Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, Android enthusiasts may hope that it resembles a Android 5.0 concept that recently emerged.
At Google I/O 2013, the company failed to offer an Android update for smartphone and tablet owners, instead choosing to focus on upgrades to its current services. However, rumors suggest that a new Android update is close with whispers pointing to an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release in the not-so-distant future. Rumors suggest the update could arrive as soon as this month with July also being mentioned as a possibility.
Rumors of a new Nexus handset started trickling in during the third quarter of 2012, as we reported on 1 October 2012. There was speculation that this phone would be sporting Key Lime Pie, but sources who spoke to Android And +
Me correctly claimed that the handset, which turned out to be the Google Nexus 4, would be running Android Jelly Bean.
While the Nexus 4 didn't appear with a helping of Key Lime Pie,speculation that we reported on 21 January 2013 suggested that the Motorola X Phone was the Android 5.0-toting handset that would be revealed at Google IO. According to a post on the Droid Forums website, the phone will also feature a virtually bezel-free, edge-to-edge, 5-inch display. The Motorola X wasn't on show at IO but we're still expecting to see it break cover this year.

LinkedIn to open service to high school students

LinkedIn to open service to high school students       LinkedIn Corp. will soon open up its online professional networking service to high school students as part of an effort to help steer their collegiate careers.Effective Sept. 12, the new minimum age to create a LinkedIn account will range from 13 years old to 16 years old in most countries where LinkedIn operates.       LinkedIn is lowering its age requirements so high school students can tap into a new feature, called "University Pages," designed to help them learn more about colleges around the world and connect undergraduates with alumni. About 200 universities have already set up pages on LinkedIn, and the company said thousands of more schools will be given access to the new feature during the next few weeks. By lowering its age requirements, LinkedIn will open up new growth opportunities that could help the company widen its usage and bring in more revenue. It doesn't cost money...
