Acer Chromebook Released in India                   What do you use your PC for? That’s the simple question Google is asking with Chromebooks. Ever since the CR48, Chrome OS has had a troubling time convincing users that it is a serious Operating System, and not just a glorified browser with access to tons of web apps thanks to the Chromium underpinning. But surprising all critics, Chromebooks have made a great impact, with four of the top ten current bestselling laptops on Amazon running Chrome OS. Contrary to expectations, Google’s idea for a light-weight, affordable computing experience had legs. With the more recent versions of OS able to run apps outside the browser, Chrome OS has finally got the basics in place to challenge the big duopoly of Windows and OS X.            Will it ever achieve that success? It’s up to markets like India, where per capita disposable income is not high and where an affordable PC nearly always means a low-powered Windows machine. The fac

Galaxy S5

He then posted something to Sarah Goodin's wall, a friend of Zuckerberg but was again not taken seriously.         Shreateh then took the daring step and posted the bug on Zuckerberg's wall. He was immediately contacted by the Facebook security engineer and was asked about the details.         Facebook has a bounty program where it pays people to report bugs instead of using them maliciously but it did not pay the USD US 500+ fee amount to Shreateh. Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop keyboard-mouse

Microsoft announces Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop keyboard-mouse          Microsoft announced the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop, which comprises the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard and the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse.        The new keyboard has a split design and is higher in the middle so your hands can be put in a more natural position. This is not an uncommon design for ergonomic keyboards but Microsoft has successfully managed to inject quite a bit of style in its take. Interestingly, the internal code name for the product was "Manta Ray" -- it's not hard to see why. The number pad for the keyboard is separate, which makes good ergonomic sense since you can move it out of the way so your mouse can be nearer to the center of your body. Such a mouse position is better for your shoulders.        The Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse appears to be a rounder, smoother version of the Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, which has been discontinued for years. Apple-iOS 7

Apple-iOS 7, a big upgrade.             iOS 7, the latest version of Apple’s flagship mobile operating system, is here, and it’s almost entirely different from the versions that came before. Gone are the   skeuomorphic   designs and 3D effects, replaced by Sir Jony Ive’s “flat design.” Rumors had been flying for weeks about the new OS and now it’s here and it is, at least at this early reckoning, a massive change for the six year old operating system.            First, we must remember that Ive, Apple’s industrial designer now in control of software following the departure of Scott Forstall, isn’t a believer in interfaces that copy real-world objects. In the past, making the Notes app look like a legal pad or the calendar app look like a Moleskine calendar notebook were part of the iOS design philosophy, as ingrained in the OS as “Slide To Unlock.” All that is gone now. Features : iOS 7 has a new font leading the way, which seems to be a sort of Helvetica Neue Ultra
